- Register by February 10th, 2024
- There are 20 spots available for individuals to participate in this training.
- Travel, lodging, and meals (during training hours) will be provided for individuals that are traveling from a Norton Sound Regional Community
- Priority is given to residents of our village communities to help expand evidenced-based breastfeeding support in our region.
- If selected, you will receive confirmation by February 11th and arrangements for travel will be made at that time.
- Participants will receive 21.25 LCERPS (for lactation professionals) and 24 contact hours for other credentialed professionals. Participants have the option of obtaining the CLE (Certified Lactation Educator) credential after the completion of this training.Â
Schedule Of Events:
Monday, February 19th: Participants arrive in Nome, transportation to lodging provided.
Tuesday, February 20th: Day 1 Training
Wednesday, February 21st: Day 2 Training
Thursday, February 22nd: Day 3 Training
Friday, February 23rd: Departures
(a more comprehensive schedule will be provided in the weeks leading up to the training)
A shuttle will be provided for individuals to and from lodging to the training each day.
Breastfeeding children are permitted at the training with permission. Children cannot be older than 2 years old.
